Sequencing of 8 No. 45kw pumps, running on Danfoss 55kw variable frequency drives for factory water supply. The pumps were controlled by S7-300 PLC linked up to an TP177 HMI panel as operator interface.

Kad Controls Limited was approached by Power Transmission and Controls Limited to provide programming and commissioning services in a project whose purpose was to maintain constant pressure in EABL’s Ruaraka plant main water intake header.

Power Transmission and Controls Limited handled supply and installation of equipment, whereas Kad Controls handled programming ofthePLC,HMIandVSDs.
